Infosys Q2 result preview suggest Profit may jump 9%, revenue 23% on-year

Infosys according to sources is likely to post a strong set of numbers for the quarter ended 30 September on account of strong momentum and ramp-up of past deals. The forecast for consolidated revenue for the quarter is expected to rise 23-24% on-year, according to estimates given by several brokerage firms. The consolidated net profit of Infosys is seen rising in 6-9 per cent range on a yearly basis. The company’s board is planning to meet on October 12 and 13 to approve financial results for Q2FY23. Infosys will consider a proposal for a share buyback, its fourth since 2017, on the same day.
