JERUSALEM - Hundreds of Palestinians protested today at checkpoints 0f a major refugee camp in Jerusalem and shops across the West Bank were closed, following an Israeli security crackdown after two soldiers died in shooting attacks this week. There were incidents in several cities across the occupied West Bank and Israeli security forces closed roads into Nablus, one of the cities at the heart of months of clashes in which more than 100 Palestinians have been killed this year. The Shuafat camp, which is now a heavily built up area andis a home to aproximately 60,000 people, has been blockaded for days because police have combed through streets and houses looking for the shooter and imposed strict vehicle checks.
